The 2024 Alabama Crimson Tide football roster is loaded with talent at just about every position. Though legendary head coach Nick Saban is no longer at the helm of the program, Alabama is still one of the most historic programs that can still compete. Athletes from all across the country – and globe – want to have the opportunity to represent the Crimson Tide.
Where are Alabama football players from? Well, there are over 100 players on the roster, so it’s a diverse list that includes 21 different states and five different countries.
See which states can claim they have a player, or multiple, on the 2024 Alabama football roster.
Arizona – 1

New Alabama offensive lineman Parker Brailsford, who recently joined the Crimson Tide via the transfer portal is the only player on the roster from the state of Arizona. His hometown is Mesa, Az.
Connecticut – 1

Alabama football offensive lineman Tyler Booker is the only player on the roster to have been recruited out of and from the state of Connecticut, with the exception of Olaus Alinnen, who played high school football in Connecticut, but is from Finland.
Nevada – 1

The only player on the 2024 Alabama football roster is new wide receiver Germie Bernard, who joined via the transfer portal this offseason. Bernard is from Las Vegas, Nv.
North Carolina – 1

Freshman linebacker Cayden Jones is the only player on Alabama’s roster to be from North Carolina. He is originally from Asheville, N.C.
Ohio - 1

Redshirt junior defensive back DeVonta Smith is the only player on the 2024 roster to be from Ohio. He is from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Oklahoma - 1

Virginia - 1

Junior defensive back Prince Butler is from Alexandria, Va and is the only Alabama player from the state of Virginia.

Redshirt freshman kicker Conor Talty (Chicago) and redshirt freshman Miles McVay (East Saint Louis) are the only two players from the state of Illinois.
Louisiana - 2

Redshirt sophom*ore tight end Danny Lewis Jr. (New Iberia) and junior wide receiver Kendrick Law (Shreveport) are the two players representing the state of Louisiana on the roster.
Michigan - 2

Junior wide receiver Kaleb Fleming (Macomb Township) and redshirt junior defensive lineman Damon Payne Jr. (Belleville) are both from Michigan and are the only two players from the state on roster for 2024.
