35m of 161m employed have access to same day or next day #primarycare through #DPC which is doubling every 30 months. So 22% is 44% of all workers EOY 2026. This direct #onsite or #nearsite #fencesite #mobile or #virtual increasingly has Msk and behavioral health baked in. Zero🔺Academic studies🔺National press🔺Marches/pitchforks needed. It’s v real based on interviews w CEOs and CMOs on my pod. Seems unstoppable at this point. Why?▪️NPS are near universally world class@88-98 scores. Members ❤️it. Legacy care is lucky to see the 20’s.Kaiser stands alone in the 40s. The bar is uber low in American Sickcare. ▪️Employers renew 98-99%. So they fund it. ▪️Payback is year one hard costs and month 4 including soft (#absenteeism🔻#retention #attraction #engagement all🔺) so it is de-risked. ▪️Waiting lists of #whitecoats vs Big Retail fat sign on bonuses. Federally funded Big System vacuuming independent docs. Who are fleeing that system designed factory medicine model. Med students say (63%) they hope to never see a patient. It’s just that bad. https://lnkd.in/gJE5dm_bMost (over 90%) jumbo employers are looking at this direct care model as an add on to medieval PPOs with medical-debt-gotcha-deductibles which has trapped a nice chunk of 100m+. About 10m get h.care #free or #nearfree at work through this model. It’s not all bleak.👌8 aims. Forget the quadruple aim. That’s so grandpa. And the best part -it’s a movement that’s ▪️colorblind▪️red/blue state blind▪️gender blind▪️orientation blind ▪️religion blind▪️blue/white collar blind. Strongly disagree w Peter Bonis here. Walmart got the success formula wrong not the FFS model. That model works perfectly when the right ancillaries house with independent PCPs who take home double to triple the median with plenty of billable diagnostics within the scope of practice. All valuable to patients. Not high-end cash pay vanity offerings like Botox. Juvederm. Walmart lasered on pumping out more meds glasses and DME which they couldn’t control because they leased to docs -and then did their billing. An upsell and collections cluster. Day 1. ◾️They overspent. No one needs X-ray on-site and a tech at $80k. They are on every street corner. ◾️6000sf for 2-3 whitecoats makes zero sense and dentists don’t refer nor do eye ear and behavioral. So totally reliant on walk in. Not a “strategy” any of this. But likely Ivy League generated medical delivery rookie errors all this opex / capex silliness. And the highly publicized #shortage isn’t one. It is tomorrow as 63% of med students want nothing to do with patients. NPs is 60%. Gen Z isn’t adulting. We have enough PCPs for every American to share one with 730 others. That’s a panel 1/3 the sickcare model. What we have is an efficiency issue solved mostly by #virtualprimarycare a part of every #DPC serving 35m of us. Meet all who are scaling this right here. We are living in a future where everyone wins. www.PrimaryCareCures.comThis is brought to you by Redirect HealthFree report -How to Slash Healthcare Costshttps://lnkd.in/gfNdnS8T Excerptprimary care has been the bedrock of health services delivery, but the traditional model is no longer sustainable. Copay. Deductible. Coinsurance. We score a D- in literacy of these terms. Less for some demos. For over a decade. With a doc and he says #Obamacare is a remarkable achievement. How so?Well they had nothing and now have something. I didn’t talk about 159 new commissions and committees. That Father-Of-It-All Gruber bragged it was intentionally a scam so as to not be scored by CBO. That its actual cost a decade later was double. A near cool trillion. Law thicker than the Internal Revanue Code -with its century plus head start(1883). That independent docs then 70% + are now 20% or less thanks to regulatory over reach and ruthless mandates from the swamp created. Asked him do you know the average #deductible for most covered in exchanges? $9000+. So I said they are functionally uninsured still. That they have a “free” car they can’t afford to drive. Well they have more than before…This from a wizened silver haired doc. We are just above passing in knowledge of the morass called “insurance”. Even our doctors. Nurses. Shocking? For most -as many as 100m who trapped in #medicaldebt -it’s a myth, this insurance thing. It’s that car they can’t afford to drive except in catastrophic cases. Most Americans are hourly employees. We are a great nation but the vulnerable are in the majority. A big reason we are so divided. Here’s what unites us.#directcare is a future where we all win. www.PrimaryCareCures.com brought to you by Redirect Health Free report -How to Slash Healthcare Costshttps://lnkd.in/gfNdnS8T Excerpt Most Americans (65%) do not feel that health insurance providers are transparent about what they cover, do not believe that healthcare bills are clear and easy to understand (62%), or find health insurance coverage like co-insurance payments and deductibles to be easy to understand (62%).https://lnkd.in/gcUZ4aNN

Sorry food chains and 10,000 restaurant employees for our foolish minimum wage policies.♥️Gav and The Can’t Shoot Straight Gang Excerpt Fast food chains in California are slashing jobs - as a way to cut costs after the minimum wage in the state was hiked to $20-an-hour. Almost 10,000 positions across chains from Pizza Hut to Burger King have been cut since the law came into effect on April 1, according to a report from a trade group in the state. On top of that, chains have been shuttering restaurants - including beloved Mexican chain Rubio's Coastal Grill, which this week filed for bankruptcy. 'California businesses have been under total attack and total assault for years,' CABIA president and founder Tom Manzo told Fox Business. 'It's just another law that puts businesses in further jeopardy.'He said that officials were living in a 'fantasyland' if they think drastic wage increases will actually help workers or businesses. 'You can only raise prices so much,' Manzo told the outlet. 'And you're seeing it. People are not going to pay $20 for a Big Mac. It's not going to happen.' https://lnkd.in/gY4KJDvM

Nordics and Israelis. Happiest on earth. USA drops out of Top 20. What’s corporate h.care got to do with it? The Dream is dying killed by healthcare. h/t Dave Chase, Health Rosetta-discovering archaeologist Excerpt… the young are now, in 2021-2023, the least happy age group," according to the new report. "This is a big change from 2006-2010, when the young were happier than those in the midlife groups, and about as happy as those aged 60 and over. For the young, the happiness drop was about three-quarters of a point, and greater for females than males."https://lnkd.in/g6q7RaD3

#Foodprescriptions helped people lower blood pressure and lose weight. How’s that for a novel approach v pill slinging?h/t Hippocrates 400 AD. -Let food be thy medicine. Excerpt A new kind of prescription could help you eat your way to better #hearthealth, with doctor-recommended foods and money to buy them. The new research looked at data from nearly 4,000 people, including 1,817 children, from low-income neighborhoods in 12 different states, including California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Minnesota. Participants either had or were at risk of #cardiovascular problems, and were provided with #nutritional classes on healthy eating habits. They were also given money specifically to buy fruits and veggies from grocery stores and farmers markets. The amount of money was about $63 per month on average, but varied by location, and in some cases was based on the number of people per household, ranging from $15 up to $300 (for a large family) per month. Participants stayed on the programs for an average of six months. In that time, they reported eating more fruits and veggies: about a quarter cup more per day for children, and nearly one cup more per day for adults. Food prescriptions also significantly improved measures of heart health like blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and body mass index, according to the study results, published August 29 in the journal Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes.

Doctors are prescribing food to kids and adults for better heart health — and it's working, new research suggests businessinsider.com
