Pre-hire activities

• Scheduling and completing your Employee Health appointment and required tasks.
  • You will receive an email with instructions for how to register and self-schedule your appointment at My Employee Health Center.
  • Once registered, you will confirm your medical information by completing your pre-placement questionnaires and uploading vaccination documentation.
• Authorize, complete and clear your background check through HireRight.
  • Use the link provided by HireRight to initiate your background check within 48 business hours of accepting your offer.

How to prepare for Employee Health appointment

• Schedule your appointment: Using the instructions provided via email, register at My Employee Health Center to schedule your appointment at an Employee Health center most convenient to you by clicking the New Appointment icon.
  • Remote jobs are not required to schedule or attend an in-person appointment. You will receive additional instructions by email regarding your drug screen.
  • If you are out of state or unable to meet the scheduling deadline there will be instructions in the portal for next steps. You are still required to come on-site to an Employee Health center prior to your start date.
  • Physician & Advanced Practice Practitioner in Round Rock locations:Professional Photographer is available the first and thirdMonday of every month from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. It is recommended that you schedule your employee health appointment around this time so that you may have your professional photo taken before or after your employee health appointment.
• Block your calendar: The appointment may take up to three hours.
• Arrange for childcare: No children are allowed to accompany you to your Employee Health appointment.
• Dress appropriately: Your badge photo will be taken during your visit. Please wear business attire or any colored scrubs, and no visible piercings.
• Bring appropriate documentation: Ensure you have the documents needed to:
  • Verify your identity with a picture ID (cannot be expired)
  • Verify your eligibility to work as listed on Form I-9Acceptable Documents
  • Verify your current vaccinations; be sure to bring a copy of your vaccination records
    • If you have received a flu vaccination in the current flu season, provide documentation at your appointment. If you have not received it during the current flu season, it will be provided at your appointment. If you think you qualify for an exemption (medical or religious), please provide the flu exemption request form at your appointment.
• Central Texas:
  • Save time by downloading and completing the Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) form now or complete upon arrival.
  • If you are a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Fellow, Licensed Professional Counselor, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Physician, Physician Assistant, Resident or a Vice President, be sure to self-schedule your professional photo appointment. We recommend that you schedule this appointment for the day of your Employee Health appointment but no later thanat least seven days prior to your start date.
