If you’re traveling from the USA or Canada to Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia or Asia, you’ll get a ton of use from your universal travel adapter. They’ve become really convenient, with built-in USB charging ports, too.
But if you might want to use your own hairdryer or straightener, get yourself a voltage converter. Just be sure to read the instructions first, as they can be a bit more complicated to use. Maybe just pack the instructions, too. Just in case. (And sorry, I know they’re not that cute.)
